My review of the  “CREE XML XM-L T6 LED Bike Bicycle Light HeadLight HeadLamp 1200LM ”

Just received my Cree LED Headlight today from Amazon (link)   For less than $20.00 with free shipping, this light is not to be beat.  The light has three modes; High, Low and Strobe.  I have not had a chance to test it on the bike yet, but did take my dog for a night time walk while wearing this headlamp with the included head strap.  The light produces a decent brightness spotlight, it was very easy to see where I was going, and the beam was bright enough to illuminate objects well over 100ft away.

Pros

• Low Price
• Small and lightweight design
• light feels solid and not cheap

Cons

• Power cord comes out of the front and makes it a bit difficult to attach the rubber band that holds the light in place
• beam is narrow (I’ve ordered a diffuser which should widen the beam)

Overall I would highly recommend this product, I’ll update the review as I spend more time with the light.  I’m interested in battery life primarily and also to see how well it works when mounted on the bike.
