Most important lesson I’ve learned for Winter riding is to stay warm. Bar-Mitts or something similar to keep your hands warm goes a LONG way in making for a fun ride. Riding in snow is a big challenge, especially for new riders who are still not 100% confident in their skills. The two biggest things I’ve dealt with are uphill traction when approach a climb at too slow of a speed, and taking turns without washing out the front. Combine a turn then an uphill and I’m almost guaranteed to be walking it 🙂
